When you connect the T71 to the Chrome app, it automatically checks the firmware version. If it's not the latest version, a message will appear, as shown above. Clicking OK will initiate the firmware update.
The binary file used for the firmware update is embedded in the Chrome app. Therefore, you must first update the Chrome app to the latest version to update to the newest firmware version.
Sometimes, unexpected issues, such as compatibility problems, may occur with the latest firmware version, which could interfere with usage.
In such cases, you can revert to a previous firmware version. In the Chrome app's DEVICE TAB screen, click on the FW VERSION, and the screen below will appear. By clicking the button highlighted in red, the firmware update will proceed to the selected version.
