The 5K supports user-selectable amplifier gain modes.

• Normal

  • UNBAL 1VRMS / BAL 2VRMS

  • Longer battery time and lower noise floor

• High

  • UNBAL 2VRMS / BAL 4VRMS

  • Maximum output level increased by +6dB

NThe current volume (output level) is adjusted to remain consistent when switching between Normal and High modes.

Both modes provide the same sound performance. Normal mode is recommended in most cases if the output power is sufficient.
